The solid waste industry faces the challenge of suitable siting, successful permitting in order to move projects forward to construction and expansion, and restoration of completed waste cells. Chambers Group has broad experience in restoring previously inhospitable terrains to plant-friendly and attractive locations. Revegetation of graded solid waste sites is a difficult and specialized activity that requires a detailed understanding of the ecology of native vegetation and soil organisms. Chambers Group is uniquely qualified in this regard.
Our restoration ecology team leader has a broad background in academic research and practical experience. We introduced several innovative restoration techniques in common use today, including land imprinting and mycorrhizal inoculation.
