Education
Chambers Group actively supports programs for universities, community colleges and K-12 schools. It is necessary that all environmental assessment, CEQA (NEPA as appropriate) and specialized studies (air, noise, traffic, risk assessment, etc.) be performed adequately to allow for construction to proceed and to minimize risks to children.
Chambers Group has extensive experience in preparing environmental assessments and CEQA documentation for all the aforementioned educational institutions. Chambers Group has been a participant in many environmental discussions with the Division of State Architect (DSA) and the Department of Toxic Substances (DTSC) associated with school projects. Increasingly, to avoid delays and redundancy CEQA, CDC, DTSC and Title 5 regulations are considered collectively to evaluate the health safety and environmental condition of a prospective school site.
