Senior Biologist/Project Manager

Chambers Group has an IMMEDIATE need for senior biologists/project managers with 10 years of overall experience in natural resources biology and 5 years of solid project management. Project management experience should include management of multiple projects, both large and small, experience dealing with agencies, staff and subcontractors, and complete familiarity with project budget management, work schedules and staffing issues. Experience in southern California is important. Work is available immediately and will be full-time in Los Angeles County. This work will be done in the office with field visits, as needed, to manage projects. BA in Natural Sciences or related field. Lab-related biology degrees and experience need not apply.

Senior Archeologist/Project Manager

Program Manager - alternative energy, transportation, or water/utilities

As Program Manager, you will report directly to the COO and be responsible for providing dedicated management of large, complex projects/programs to meet client and company objectives. You will also market company services to a network of potential clients, and will develop and write proposals. You must possess excellent leadership, business development, organization, and communications skills. You must be proficient in managing multiple project programs and must be accustomed to accountability for both client and company resources.
Experience must include at least 15 years in the planning of natural resources and environmental field, including 10 years of demonstrated success in developing and managing projects without supervision, and at least 5 years managing large multi-disciplined, multi-site projects requiring deployment of significant company resources. Strong technical background and working knowledge of environmental consulting is required.

Senior Restoration Specialist

Our projects are cost-effective, successful and designed at the early stages to save our clients money later on. We value plant diversity and specialize in soil organisms as key to ecosystem function. We often think at right angles to conventional methods and we are looking for a candidate who can contribute to this process. The right candidate understands teamwork and project management, and is willing to roll up his/her shirtsleeves and produce results. We are looking for a plant ecologist with a graduate degree or a history of undergraduate research related to plant ecology. Some years of experience are desirable.
